I chose to do private lessons, which accommodated my schedule better and Kate was really flexible, and great about communication. We rescued a pitbull mix Jolene, who needed ME to be trained! Kate trained us both, and I am so proud of the team that Jolene and I are now! It’s truly changed the dynamic in our home, but even better is that I can easily take Jolene, all 4 of my kiddos and myself anywhere in the community with an incredibly well trained dog. Kate was amazing to work with! We brought our 2.5yo black lab to training for help with reactivity when on the leash and overall leash manners. Kate helped us understand the psychology behind our dogs behaviors and introduced replacement behaviors to help with her stress/unsafe feelings which were causing her to be difficult on leash.
Training sessions at Kate’s location were especially helpful and then it was great to have a final session in our home/neighborhood. After a couple months of consistency we have seen HUGE growth!
